I want a pre-1971 Beetle as my 1st car (I'm going to be 17 in May). It's easy fix and nice on gas. Oh did I mention you can fix the electrics with some pliers and a hammer?
I'd prefer if it were a good runner. Tuned/Engine Swaps are cool (I WOULD LOVE IF IT HAD DISC BRAKES!). But have at it! MAY THE DUB BE WITH YOU.

Those bumpers actually came in to play in 69
